Privacy notice
We only ask for what we need to get your timber to you, and we never sell your details.
What do you collect?
With an order: your name, email address, mobile number, any business name, the delivery address and postcode, your delivery day, what you bought and your driver notes. With an email: your address and what you wrote.
Card details go straight into our payment provider's page and are handled by that provider. We never get them.
What do you use it for?
Taking your payment, getting your order ready and delivered, sending your confirmation and delivery updates, answering questions, handling changes and refunds, and keeping the records we're legally required to. We do this because it's needed for our contract with you and to meet the law.
Who else gets to see it?
Our card payment provider, to take payment. Our order system, which stores your order so we can prepare and track it. The driver, who only gets your name, address, mobile and driver notes. If you say yes to analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity see how the site is being used, though never your order or contact details.
We don't sell your details, and nobody gets them to market to you. The only other sharing would be where a law requires it.
How long do you keep it?
We keep order records for 6 years because our accounts need them. Emails that never turn into an order stay for 6 years before being deleted.
What are my rights?
Ask us for a copy of your details, to fix anything that's wrong, or to delete anything we don't need any more, by emailing info@buyfencingnewcastle.co.uk. The Cookie settings link in the footer lets you change your cookie choice.
Not happy with how your details have been used? Let us know first and we'll try to fix it. The Information Commissioner's Office also takes complaints.
